My house.
Had you told me seven years ago that we would be meeting in homes, I wouldn’t have believed it. That wasn’t on my spreadsheet. It wouldn’t have sounded like success at all. But it is.
In larger facilities, we’ve had five times the amount of people that showed up this Sunday. I wouldn’t trade that for what God is doing right now.
We’ve been casting the simple church vision since 2019. What I imagined was that house churches would grow out of the larger Sunday morning experience. Yet the more we tried that, the more we struggled. What I saw as failure was God leading us to unexpected success.
We had a building rented for this month, but the January cold caused the city to turn the water off. Once again it seemed like another door …
